Mr. Sam Allen is a couples and family therapist with a special interest in gender and sexual minorities. Utilizing integrative techniques based in cognitive-behavioral, feminist, and intergenerational models of therapy, Sam enjoys working with couples and individuals across a range of relational and identity-based concerns. Sam is also a current PhD student in family science at The University of Maryland; his research focuses on transgender and gender non-conforming children and racial minority families.

In addition to working with couples and individuals of all genders, Sam has experience with eating disorders, anxiety, mindfulness, poly/kink and queer issues, and family-of-origin concerns. Sam can conduct therapy in Hebrew and enjoys working with culturally diverse clientele.

Matthew Siblo, PhD, is a licensed professional counselor who has worked with individuals and couples struggling with depression, anxiety, relational difficulties and interpersonal conflict across a variety of clinical settings. A particular clinical interest of his is same-sex couples counseling.

He serves as a part-time counselor with the American University Counseling Center. He is a graduate of the Psychological Counseling program at Teachers College, Columbia University, where he received his Ed.M in Psychological Counseling. Dr. Siblo received his doctoral degree in Counselor Education and Supervision at The George Washington University. He recently completed the couples training program at the Institute of Contemporary Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis (ICP+P) which focuses on the incorporation of self-psychological concepts applied to the clinical practice of treating and healing couples.

Dr. Walker-Riley, is a couple and family therapist with years of experience providing individual, couples, family and group psychotherapy. She can will help you heal from trauma, depression, anxiety, feeling stuck, and other forms of relational and interpersonal distress.

Working with Dr. Walker will allow you to explore, understand, and have more compassion for the multiple layers within your personality. With couples, she is a very active presence to help partners have productive conversations, and offers clear steps to help you create the kind of relationship you desire.

In addition to training in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT) , Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI) , Dr. Walker is certified in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) , an integrative and effective approach for individuals who have been impacted by trauma.

Tifphane Walker-Riley is a Couple and Family Therapist, specializing in Sex Therapy, with over 10 years of experience providing individual, couple, group and family psychotherapy.  As a social justice driven therapist, she has expertise in working with the LGBTQ community, communities of color, health issues, trauma survivors, and couples dealing with a variety of issues from infidelity to sexual dysfunction.

Tifphane has been trained in Systems Family Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Systemic Sex Therapy.
